Meet Dr. Jared Jacobskind
There’s nothing easy about getting a degree in dentistry. But Dr. Jared Jacobskind decided to make it even more challenging — by earning an M.B.A. at the same time.
It was an experience that taught him far more than efficient study skills. The lessons he learned from his M.B.A. ended up leading him to Cromwell Dental.
“I saw immediately how well this practice is run, especially from the standpoint of always being focused on customers’ satisfaction and doing what’s right for them,” Dr. Jacobskind says. “There was a lot of emphasis on that in the M.B.A. program, and it’s one of the critical values at Cromwell Dental, which made me feel great about being part of the team.”
Also convincing Dr. Jacobskind to join the team: the team. “The culture here is fantastic,” he says. “Everyone supports each other, and most importantly, goes the extra mile for the ultimate goal — making our patients feel completely comfortable, confident and respected.”
Treating patients with respect is something core to Dr. Jacobskind’s reputation, built since his admission to the prestigious dental residency program at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport, NY. There, he served the health needs of the local veteran population.
“Giving back to people who have given so much to the country was one of the most fulfilling and gratifying endeavors of my life,” he says.
A native of Long Island, Dr. Jacobskind and his wife, Marsha, fell in love with Connecticut’s culture and scenic towns on a getaway and decided to relocate to West Hartford. They love exploring both the town and its lively downtown, as well as the walking trails of the local reservoir — when they’re not keeping up with their young children.
Dr. Jacobskind graduated from Stony Brook University with a BS in Chemistry, and received his dentistry degree from Stony Brook University’s School of Dental Medicine.
